That\u2019s why there&#8217;s nothing better than summer to take the car out for some breath-taking mountain routes, well equipped with REMSA braking components, because the pedal will be constantly working on the countless descents we\u2019ll be encountering. With a good friction material we will avoid overheating or fading.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s enjoy the trip, the scenery and good company.<\/p>\n<p>This is our suggestion for driving on spectacular mountain roads.<\/p>\n<h2>Grossglockner in the Austrian Alps<\/h2>\n<p>Yes, we would like to start in the area where we conduct the alpine tests that are fundamental in the R&amp;D of the new friction material.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, we will drive along the spectacular Grossglockner road, located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It is the highest mountain pass in Austria and links Bruck in the state of Salzburg with Heiligenblut in Carinthia via the Fuscher T\u00f6rl and Hochtor Pass at an altitude of 2,504 m.<\/p>\n<p>It costs 28 euros to drive this road and the map that comes with the ticket shows the best places to stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery, such as the Pasterze glacier.<\/p>\n<p>The road runs from Bruck in the Salzach valley through 26 hairpin bends to the Hochtor Pass at 2,428 m with the Edelwei\u00dfspitze (the place from where our drivers descend to test the REMSA friction material). It will not leave you unmoved.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d21885.589637324985!2d12.82550632098839!3d47.08334883470274!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x477715a6c2f6e8f5%3A0xd2cd590e3196a135!2sCarretera+alpina+del+Grossglockner!5e0!3m2!1ses!2ses!4v1557734013590!5m2!1ses!2ses\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>San Bernardino Pass, Switzerland<\/h2>\n<p>Spectacular 33-km mountain pass that links two linguistic areas of Switzerland since it goes from Spl\u00fcgen (German-speaking) to Mesocco (Italian-speaking) with it castle ruins.<\/p>\n<p>The pass is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland, with lakes, waterfalls and vast forests.<\/p>\n<p>On the descent one encounters Lago d\u2019Isola surrounded by mountain forests and glaciers. Ideal for water sports such as rowing, windsurfing or jumping on the zip line. So our braking system had better be equipped with REMSA brake pads and discs.<\/p>\n<p>The coastline of the island of Corsica is a constant up-and-down, with the Mediterranean Sea on one side. Beautiful views, cliffs, flora and fauna will accompany us. The ferry will probably leave us in <strong>Bastia<\/strong>, to the north, and there we will be able to visit the Cap Corse and its beautiful beaches. Continue to Calvi, another emblematic coastal town of Corsica, close to the highest mountains of the island and with an impressive citadel.<\/p>\n<p>A two and a half hour drive will take us to <strong>Ajaccio<\/strong>, the capital of Corsica and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. In the middle of the gulf stands one of the most beautiful cities on the island, its port and the colours of the city will not disappoint us.<\/p>\n<p>The walled town of <strong>Bonifacio<\/strong>, at the southern tip of Corsica, awaits us at the end of the journey. Its beauty is due to its privileged location. Its landscape is composed of the most important limestone peaks in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the route will take you from <strong>Bolzano<\/strong>, one of the most charming towns in Italy, to <strong>Cortina d&#8217;Ampezzo<\/strong>, the most glamorous town in the area, full of Austro-Hungarian memories.<\/p>\n<p>All these places are famous for skiing competitions and the Giro d\u2019Italia (the Three Summits of Lavaredo, La Marmolada or the mythical Stelvio).<\/p>\n<p>We pass through large woods and verdant mountains, not forgetting the valley where the beautiful Lake Carezza is located.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby the Gardena Pass will reveal spectacular views over the Sella Towers or Val Gardena.<\/p>\n<p>With so many ports, it is certainly a place to test the brakes of the car.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d316658.2061994777!2d11.895913271676626!3d46.52878609393134!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x47783435d247033f%3A0xdd3c30437b92e42b!2s32043+Cortina+d'Ampezzo%2C+Belluno%2C+Italia!5e0!3m2!1ses!2ses!4v1557821217157!5m2!1ses!2ses\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n[box_twitter]We take the car out for some breath-taking European mountain routes, well equipped with REMSA braking components.[\/box_twitter]\n<h2>La Quebrantahuesos, Spain<\/h2>\n<p>It runs through the Aragonese Pyrenees and owes its fame to the massive amateur cycling event.<\/p>\n<p>It starts from and arrives in <strong>Sabi\u00f1\u00e1nigo<\/strong> (Huesca) and runs through <strong>Jaca<\/strong>, a famous Pyrenean city with its imposing citadel, and through well-known mountain passes such as Somport, Marie Blanc and Portalet. From <strong>Biescas<\/strong>, the gateway to the Tena Valley (Ordesa Park), it runs down to Sabi\u00f1\u00e1nigo, capital of the Alto G\u00e1llego region, a total of nearly 200 kilometres.<\/p>\n<p>The Pyrenean landscape with its peaks, green forests, flora and fauna will accompany us on the route.
